Who We Are:

Experts estimate that 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. Last year, North Carolina lost 63 lives due to domestic violence related deaths. Programs that support victims of domestic violence need funds to provide the many services that allow victims the chance to get their life back.

The Rock for Peace at Home was conceived and organized by a group of friends who share the belief that domestic violence is an unnecessary part of too many homes, today. Music of all genres has always been instrumental in unifying people, and it has often inspired harmony. In this spirit, a benefit concert that raises funds and awareness to prevent domestic violence seems to be an ideal approach.
