Hunter’s Travesty (Charlotte, NC)

Conceived in 2004, when Travis Denton (rhythm guitar, lead/backing vocals) and Hunter Baugus (lead guitar, lead/backing vocals) decided to leave the friendly confines of jamming on familiar back porches and living rooms. They began experiencing the true live-feel at local open mic-nights. Later, Ben Grandin (drums, lead/backing vocals), joined them and played percussion, to include a four-piece percussion for acoustic performances. Since the spring of 2005 Hunter's Travesty has played locally between 2-4 times weekly. Go to: www.myspace.com/hunterstravesty.

The Gallery (Wilbraham, MA & West Palm Beach, FL)

Hook-laden rock songs combined with a touch of mainstream and huge indie-cred have increased the exposure of The Gallery. They blend southern-infused pop rock with authenticity and an ability to give all lyrics that “road worn” lyricism. The current band includes, Brendan Cooney (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Cooney (drums), Dave Mozdzanowski (bass/backing vocals), Shea Brennan (lead guitar), and Cody Hunt (guitar). Their debut album “If You Know What I Mean” was released in 2008. In 2010, the band will expand while touring across the country, including Charlotte, NC. Grown Up Avenger Stuff (Charlotte, NC)

What is it that separates the “average” avenger from the Grown Up Avenger? Well, it's the “stuff”…of course. Formed in 2009, Grown Up Avenger Stuff is a local rock band with sound loosely based on the standard garage-power, trio-style, injected with a mutant-strain of punk…a touch of glam…a slice of metal…a bucket of energy…and a tower of volume. They've been compared to the Foo Fighters (if they had a female vocalist). This female vocalist has enough volume to lift above a drum kit without a microphone. Grown Up Avenger Stuff is a constant hit at local scenes. Go to: www.myspace.com/grownupavengerstuff.

Lamb Handler (Charlotte, NC)

If Muddy Waters met Queens of the Stone Age and had a kid…then Howlin' Wolf met the Dixie Dregs and had a kid...and by some miracle those kids had kids of their own...well that union would be Lamb Handler. Lamb Handler has been playing as a band since 2006. In the beginning, Moe Lassiz (singer/rhythm guitar) and Jay Fernandez (lead guitar/backing vocals) wanted to work on songs that were “more stripped down with no fat.” With that in mind, they brought in Tim Benson (drums) and Brent Holland (bass) and these four quickly realized that Lamb Handler was what they had been working towards. Their debut record "The Shepherds of Rock" came out independently in 2007. After performing with the inspirational Joe Buck, they released "Jingle Jangle" in 2009. The Lamb Handler catchy, melodic fierceness is still there, however, be ready for the slight twang of southern rock(abilly). Go to: www.myspace.com/lambhandler.
